【Niigata University 75th Anniversary Commemorative Satellite Event】Special Lecture hosted by Sakeology Center will be held

Niigata University celebrates its 75th anniversary this year.
As one of the commemorative events, Special Lecture hosted by Sakeology Center will be held on October 18, 2024.
At this lecture, Ms. Makiko ONO, who became the President & Chief Executive Officer of Suntory Beverage & Food Limited in March 2023, will give a lecture entitled “Sustainability Initiatives as a Global Beverage Company.” She is the first woman in Japan to serve as president of a company with a market capitalization of over 1 trillion yen, and has attracted considerable attention as the 86th in Forbes’ annual ranking of “The World’s 100 Most Powerful Women” (in 2023). She is also the first woman working abroad at Suntory, and has a long career in overseas business, and has been involved in M&A of overseas companies.
This is a precious opportunity to hear from Ms. Ono, a leader on the global stage, so we hope you will attend.
