The report of HATA Yuki, Ph.D., Specially Appointed Assistant Professor, Sakeology Center, “Transcript and Notes on Mochi-to-sake Onaka-no-Yoidoshi,” was published in “The Japanese Journal for the History of Brewing”(*) (No.38) on March 31, 2023.

Mochi-to-sake Onaka-no-Yoidoshi, published in 1780, is a story of sake personification characters. In this report, Dr. HATA transcribed and made annotations of it.
