On May 10, 2023, the 1st Sakeology Seminar in FY2023, “Local alcoholic beverages and the impact of globalization in Tanzania, East Africa,” was held. In the seminar, SUNANO Yui, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of the College of Creative Studies, Cooperating Faculty Member of Sakeology Center, gave a lecture on her research.
Dr. Sunano introduced her research conducted in December 2022 on the changing relationship between people’s lifestyles and local alcoholic beverages in Tanzania, East Africa, with globalization.
