The 3rd Sakeology Seminar in FY2025, “Well-being of people and communities considered through sake,” was held

On September 4, 2025, the 3rd Sakeology Seminar in FY2025, “Well-being of people and communities considered through sake,” was held. MURAYAMA Toshio, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Education, Faculty Member of the Sakeology Center, gave a lecture on his research.

Dr. Murayama introduced the numerous research findings indicating that connections with people enhance happiness, which in turn contributes to a long life. As one way to “connect people,” he discussed the potential of sake and the significance of communication facilitated through sake.

The 4th Sakeology Seminar in FY2025 is scheduled for November 2025.
