Dr. YAMAMOTO Masahiko et al.’s research on alcohol intake and diabetic retinopathy was published in “Preventive Medicine”
YAMAMOTO Masahiko, M.D., Ph.D. (Specially Appointed Assistant Professor of Sakeology Center) and SONE Hirohito, M.D., Ph.D. (Cooperating Faculty Member of Sakeology Center; Professor of Department of Hematology, Endocrinology and Metabolism, Faculty of Medicine) et al. reported that large intakes of alcohol per occasion was associated with a high risk of developing severe diabetic retinopathy.
