The 6th Sakeology Symposium, organized by Niigata University, Niigata Prefecture, and Niigata Sake Brewers Association, will be held in a hybrid format (on-site and online) on November 28 in Nippo Hall.
This year, under the theme of “Global Expansion of Sakeology -Collaboration with Enology in the U.S.A.-,” we invite two enology scientists from the University of California, Davis (UC Davis), with which Niigata University has established an inter-university collaboration agreement in 2020, and promote exchange between enology in the U.S.A. and sakeology in Japan. The symposium will present the initiatives of the Robert Mondavi Institute, UC Davis, which has a world-class department of viticulture and enology, as well as research in enology and sakeology.
This symposium is open to everyone interested in enology and sakeology.
