The 1st Sakeology Seminar in FY2022, “Cellular basis of yeast and plant reproduction,” was held
On May 19, 2022, the 1st Sakeology Seminar in FY2022, “Cellular basis of yeast and plant reproduction,” was held. In the seminar, NISHIKAWA Shuh-ichi, Ph.D., Professor of the Faculty of Science, Cooperating Faculty Member of Sakeology Center, gave a lecture on his research.
Dr. NISHIKAWA Shuh-ichi introduced his research on the mechanism of nuclear membrane fusion and the proteins involved in it, using budding yeast and Arabidopsis thaliana as model organisms, and utilizing visualization technology (live imaging).
