A new book, Sake, a Japanese Exception, translated under the supervision of Mr. TERAO Hitoshi, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Engineering / Faculty of Economic Sciences, Cooperating Faculty Member of Sakeology Center, has been published on May 20, 2022, by Koyo Shobo Publisher Co., Ltd.
This book is a translation of the original book written in French, Le saké, Une exception japonaise by BAUMERT Nicolas (Nagoya University). This book analyzes sake with the methodology of French oenology. It was based on his thesis which won the 28th Shibusawa-Claudel Prize in 2011.
