“Rikka no Mori 2026(*)“, the sake that  graduate students in the Sakeology Program worked on brewing, will be on sale at Niigata University Co-op (Ikarashi and Asahimachi Campus) from June 15, 2026.
It will also be available at the “Niigata Prefecture Support Marché,” hosted by the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren), on June 16.
Quantities in both locations are limited, so be sure to purchase it as soon as possible.

(*) “Rikka no Mori 2026” is the sake that the graduate students of the Graduate School Sakeology Program worked on sake brewing during “Sakeology Advanced Practice,” one of the curriculums, at the Niigata Prefectural Sake Research Institute from January to March 2026.
“Rikka no Mori” was first brewed in 2024 as a commemorative sake presented at the Ceremony of Niigata University 75th Anniversary Celebration. This is the second time it has been made available for general sale, following last year.
