The 3rd Sakeology Seminar in FY2020, “Diabetes mellitus and alcohol consumption: Medical big data science leads to Sakeology,” was held
On March 17, 2021, the 3rd Sakeology Seminar in FY2020, “Diabetes mellitus and alcohol consumption: Medical big data science leads to Sakeology,” was held. In the seminar, YAMAMOTO Masahiko, M.D., Ph.D., Specially Appointed Assistant Professor, Sakeology Center, gave a lecture on his research.
Dr. YAMAMOTO Masahiko mainly explained the association between some metabolic markers and the incidence of severe diabetic eye diseases, and the relationship between alcohol consumption and diabetes mellitus and/or its complications.
The 1st Sakeology Seminar in FY2021 is scheduled for May 13, 2021.
