Niigata University will hold the summer school “Wine and Sake: the cutting-edge of oenology and sakeology” co-hosted with the University of Bordeaux, France at Niigata university. This is a valuable opportunity for academic exchange to deepen specialized knowledge of wine and sake.
This time, we are accepting applications from students enrolled at universities in Niigata Prefecture.
Students who are interested are encouraged to apply.

Date: Wednesday, September 24 to Friday,  September 26, 2025
Venue: Sakeology Center, Niigata University and sake breweries/wineries in Niigata Prefecture
Eligibility: Graduate students and other students aged 20 or over enrolled at universities in Niigata Prefecture (excluding Niigata University)
Number of participants: 3 (first come, first served) (*1) (*2)

(*1) A total of 18 students will participate in the summer school (11 from Niigata University, 4 from Bordeaux University, and 3 from universities in Niigata Prefecture).
(*2) Please note that even if you submit the form, you may not be able to participate if the quota is reached.
