“Niigata University NEXUS Project: Network of Exhibitions for Xploration of University Scholarship” project is now underway
Niigata University is currently hosting NEXUS, a project that treats the entire Igarashi Campus as a “museum” and connects its faculties and facilities through curated exhibitions. The Sakeology Center is participating in the project.
The Sakeology Center presents a variety of exhibits under the theme “Seeing, Knowing, and Enjoying Sakeology,” showcasing the richness of sake culture and the appeal of related research.
Of the approximately 1,500 valuable sake cups, vessels, and bottles in our collection, about 100 are on display at any given time, with the selection rotated seasonally. Visitors can also view other items not currently on display through the Center’s collection catalog.
Please feel free to stop by.
