The 1st Sakeology Seminar in FY2026, “Can a Computer Recommend the ‘Next Glass’?,” was held

On May 14, 2026, the 1st Sakeology Seminar in FY2026, “Can a Computer Recommend the ‘Next Glass’?,” was held. The seminar featured UENO Katsuhiro, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Faculty of Engineering, Cooperating Faculty Member of the Sakeology Center.
Drawing on his expertise in programming and programming languages, Dr. Ueno introduced preliminary concepts for unpublished research using sake as a unique domain.
The Q&A session fostered lively discussions among participants including faculty and staff from diverse academic backgrounds, making the seminar a highly meaningful opportunity for interdisciplinary dialogue.

The 2nd Sakeology Seminar in FY2026 is scheduled for July 2026.
