On January 30, 2025, the master’s thesis presentation for FY2024 of the master’s program of Niigata University Graduate School Sakeology Program was held in the seminar room of the Sakeology Center.

Eight second-year students (four from the Graduate School of Modern Society and Culture and four from the Graduate School of Science and Technology) of the master’s program of the Graduate School Sakeology Program gave presentations on their master’s theses, which summarized their research on sake over the past two years through research, surveys and practical training (one student was online). Each presentation was followed by a lively Q&A session and exchange of opinions from various perspectives, both humanities and sciences.

The presentation was attended by their faculty advisors as well as a number of undergraduate students interested in the Graduate School Sakeology Program.
