The 2nd Sakeology Seminar in AY2022, “Movement and Accumulation of Nitrogen in Higher Plants,” was held

On July 14, 2022, the 2nd Sakeology Seminar in AY2022, “Movement and Accumulation of Nitrogen in Higher Plants,” was held. In the seminar, Professor OHTAKE Norikuni, Faculty of Agriculture, a Cooperating Faculty Member of Sakeology Center, gave a lecture on his research.

Professor OHTAKE introduced his research on the compositional changes of seed components and their mechanisms of action, focusing mainly on nitrogen and phosphorus from the aspect of plant nutritional physiology, using soybean as an example.

 

The 3rd Sakeology Seminar in AY2022 is scheduled for September 2022.
*Sakeology Seminar is open to the faculty members and staff of Niigata University.
